How to Sit (Mindfulness Essentials)
by Thich Nhat Hanh Author
I really get a lot out of this series. Each page has just a couple of sentences, each with a basic action or reminder, usually of something pretty simple, though sometimes those simple things turn profound if you roll them around in your mind for a while and apply them to situations and habits in your life. You could read a whole huge book about meditation and learn a lot of things... but you could also just look at a page or two from How to Sit every day and get a world of practical benefits from the simplest ideas. In this complicated world, it's the little stuff that's easiest to overlook, and that can make the biggest difference in your moment-to-moment life.
