Lex Orgera is a poet, writer, editor, and herbalist whose books include two collections of poetry, How Like Foreign Objects and Dust Jacket; a memoir-in-fragments called Head Case: My Father, Alzheimer’s, and other Brainstorms; and an upcoming book of poetry called Agatha. Orgera studies herbalism with a host of amazing teachers and practices growing herbs and other plants on a quarter-acre plot in North Carolina. She/they writes about plants, writing, and life at Yard Dragon (yarddragon.substack.com) and is writing a collection of essays about herbalism throughout history through the lens of one particular plant.
