Ed Simon lives in Pittsburgh and is the editor of Belt Magazine and a staff writer for The Millions. A contributor at dozens of different sites, his work has appeared in, among others, The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Paris Review, Jacobin, McSweeney’s, Aeon, The New Republic, Lapham’s Quarterly, JSTOR Daily, and The Washington Post. He is the author of over a dozen books, including Pandemonium: An Illustrated History of Demonology and An Alternative History of Pittsburgh.
