Bradford Angier was a wilderness expert, supporter of back to earth living, and author of over 35 guides to surviving in the wild and living minimalistically off the land. Inspired by Henry David Thoreau, he and his wife, Vena, lived off the land in a tiny cabin in a tiny town in British Columbia, Canada, for many years. He died in 1997.
