During the Black Lives Matter protests that rose up in Portland, Oregon during the summer of 2020, the old Critical Mass tactic of using bicycles and other vehicles to provide safety at intersections by preventing cars on cross streets from driving through a group of demonstraters was revived. This short, packed zine, put together by the city's BLM Bike Bloc, provides comprehensive instructions for how to cork (including diagrams), along with some sage thoughts on self-care, inclusivity, anti-racism, police abolition, non-violence, and coalition-building.
