Seattle WTO Shutdown poster

On November 30th, 1999, a diverse consortium of activists, organizers, artists, students, workers, and more used direct action to shut down the meeting of the World Trade Organization in Seattle, Washington. This action was one of the sparks that started the counter-globalization movement.
