Kathy Jetnil-Kijner Poster

Raised in Hawaii, but originally from the Marshall Islands, poet and performance artist Kathy Jetnil-Kijner retains strong connections with her birth country and frequently writes about the Marshall Islands as part of her mission to protect them from climate change, nuclear testing, and other ecological disasters. As Climate Envoy for the Marshall Islands Ministry of Environment, Jetnil-Kijner plays an important role in the country's international efforts against climate change.
