Mini Tarot: Rider Waite Smith
by Margot Robert-Winterhalter Author and Nicolas Galkowski Author
This deck is inspired by the classic symbology in one of the best known tarot deck designs in the US -- the Rider Waite Smith tarot. The author has adapted some of the symbology but keeps generally true to the style and iconography developed by Pamela Coleman Smith -- a woman that was exploited by men in the industry. This deck is pocket sized, as the title suggests, featuring cards that are gilt-edged and in full-color. The deck comes with an accompanying case and guidebook, to decipher the meanings of the tarot and get the beginner started on making and understanding cartomancy spreads. As the Rider-Waite style is one of the most iconic of decks, this will allow the experienced user to have a portable version to tote around and will give the beginner an accessible entry into understanding the symbology of tarot and entering into the wider world of it.
