by Oswald Wirth Author and Mirko Negri Author
The Wirth Deck is a reimagining of the classic Marseille Tarot, one of the most notable incarnations of tarot cartomancy divination. Made by Swiss occultist in the late 19th century, this deck adapts the major arcana of the Marseille tarot but adds a touch of additional occult symbology, roman numerals and hebraic letters. This particular edition is in a smaller, pocket-sized format adds to Wirth’s original Major Arcana by complimenting and completing it with an accompanying set of Minor Arcana with the classical four pip sets (Wands, Coins, Swords, and Cups in this iteration), even though traditional Wirth readings call for only use of the majors. Collectors will benefit from having this historical addition represented in their repertoire. The accompanying guidebook will aid the user in creating spreads and interpreting the meaning in the cards. More adept readers will benefit from discovering the unique qualities and symbology in the deck.
