Beautifully Grotesque Fish of the American West
by Mark Spitzer Author
In a way, grotesque is an unfair quality for assign to fish but at the same time some people would struggle to call the fish described in this book as "beautiful", by itself. Spitzer gives an account to his personal experiences getting chummy with these aquatic beasts. Turning up the voltage meeting eel's in Alaska, coming face-to-face with some of the dinosaurs former neighbors, Spitzer draws stories that he links to the conservation and ecological impacts of our relationships with these fish.
