Based on a true story, this graphic novel tells the story of the 5th Beatle, bassist Stuart Sutcliffe, and photographer Astrid Kirchherr, whom he falls in love with after she recruits the band for a photography session during their time in Hamburg. While most books about the Beatles merely touch on their early days in Hamburg, this book delves into the dynamics of the band during its formative years and beautifully relays the love story between Sutcliffe and Kirchherr with charming illustrations.
