Fifty years before some seminal works in ghost haunting horror came Hans Holzer who is still referred to as the Father of the Paranormal by some. He was one of the first people to use ghost hunting methods and brought those techniques to film and pop culture around paranormal searches in the 20th century. The book covers his own practice taking on paranormal investigations in the Big Apple, through the release of this namesake titled book Ghost Hunter, in 1963, that gained him a spotlight and a platform around the world. This book is the first in the Tarcher Supernatural Library series.
