There's a Tiger in the Garden
by Lizzy Stewart Author
This book is a cute picture book that shows that we're never too old to dream and find adventure. Grandma’s house has nothing to do, and Nora refuses to believe outlandish tales of dragonflies as big as birds, grumpy polar bears who like fishing, or a magnificent tiger allegedly residing in Grandma’s garden. Nora’s too old for silly games.
When Grandma claims to have seen a tiger in the garden, Nora dismisses it. She’s too old for such games. Tigers live in jungles, not gardens. Despite seeing dragonflies as large as birds, plants that try to eat her toy giraffe, and a polar bear that enjoys fishing, Nora remains certain there’s no way a tiger could be in the garden.
