She worked on over 800 homicide cases, including those of Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, and and Aileen Wuornos. Jana Monroe was also the basis for Clarice in Silence of the Lambs, and worked with Jodie Foster to build the role. This memoir follow Monroe's life in law enforcement, her most difficult cases, and being a woman in a very male-dominated industry.
