The Witches' Almanac: Spring 2010-Spring 2011: Complete Guide to Lunar Harmony

by Andrew Theitic Editor

This former edition of the Witch’s Almanac was released for Spring 2010 through Spring 2011. This almanac series is a sophisticated, witchy pop reference and recreation of the classic Old Farmers’ Almanac; it features relevant information in relation to Moon stages and weather forecasts, following associated rituals associated with different days of the year as well as herbs secrets, pertinent incantations.

Each issue contains a different theme. This edition focuses on paying tribute to wildlife and animal companionship: celebrating bees, the haunting of different predators, dogs and their cultural significance, goat kidnappings, and more allusions to folklore. In addition, this edition features the legend of the Man in Black (the Devil's own?), the Mayan calendar prophecy (which at the time was impending), a Minnesota mom who comforts her son with Norse gods, garlic recipes to ward off blandness, and the yearly information on the seasons and planetary movements.
