Totally Tardy Marty
by Erica S. Perl Author and Jarrett J. Krosoczka Illustrator
Marty just can't seem to get where he needs to be on time! Who wants to rush off to school when there are so many other more exciting things to do, like invent fanciful new breakfast foods, or follow the line of ants in his backyard. Never-Late Kate is Marty's polar opposite, and she delights in knowing that she's always on time, and feels a little smug whenever Marty shows up late. But one day, Kate and Marty are both late after Marty gets stuck in a tree, and they strike up an unlikely friendship. Marty learns how to be more on time, and Kate learns to stop and smell the roses. A cute story to teach kids about the variety of approaches to life, and the different ways that people see and interact with the world.
