Captain Starfish

A picture book for kids ages 4-8 that celebrates introversion and tells the story of a quiet boy with anxiety who learns to shine. Alfie wants to join in the best parts of being a kid, but his shyness keeps him from participating. One day when he's feeling ovewhelmed, his mom takes him to the aquarium. There he meets fish that shine and some who hide, and learns how there can be a happy medium between hiding away and being the star of the show.
