Please Share, Aphrodite!

Aphrodite and the Golden Apple minus the soap opera content of Greek myth. In this simple, board book version, Aphrodite, Hera, and Athena are kids competing for Paris's candy apple. Each of them offers Paris a prized possession in exchange for the apple. When Paris chooses Aphrodite as the winner, her first instinct is to keep the apple for herself and brag about it, but then she realizes that sharing the apple makes for much happier play time. If only the goddesses of Greek myth had realized the same—they could have avoided the Trojan War altogher! Backmatter includes a very basic summary of the original myth.
