Put Your Worries Here: A Creative Journal for Teens with Anxiety
by Lisa M. Schab, LCSW Author
An interactive journal full of creative exercises for managing anxiety. Exercises ask you to do things like "Design a license plate for the state of tranquility," "You're carrying a backpack filled with everything you need to stay calm—draw or write what is in each pocket," and "Ask someone you trust to write you a comforting message. Copy or tape it here." Good stuff. Marketed for teens, but this is a pretty awesome resource for adults—just put a sticker over the subtitle and you're all set! A nice, dense book with rounded edges and paper you can scribble all over with a thick pen and that'll take a beating in your backpack or purse.
