Both humourous and heart-warming, Check, Please! is a queer coming-of-age graphic novel with a Ferris Buehler-esque narration from the quirky main character, Eric Bittle. Pulling from her extensive knowledge of hockey and love of sitcoms, Ngozi Ukazu initially published this comic online, yet it has now found its way onto bookstore shelves with its empathizable romance and sense of humor.
