"A vital history rendered in raw and riveting detail." –Lauren Hough
Praise for original Life & Times zine series:
"...what every great zine should be, for me: oozing with the love and devotion the creator, as well as political, punchy, fun, informative and accessible. It's a fantastic series—eight and counting —that brings to life the lives of important butch dykes from herstory." –Art Threat
Throughout history, many women have defied society's expectations of feminine behavior and appearance in order to live a more authentic life. These short vignettes combine biographical sketches with evocative illustrations for an impact that is as bold, powerful, and inspirational as the brilliant artists, writers, and musicians they represent.
